our land

The goal is to extend our harvest season for as long as possible, making the most of what nature can offer. The land on which we grow is our own. It’s carefully selected for location and altitude. By growing our avocados in hill regions the variations in altitude have the effect of phasing the ripening of the fruit. This means that we can harvest more consistent quality fruit for longer.

Working together with nature matters to us and the whole team cares about leaving a positive impact. For this we make sure that we leave wildlife-friendly areas where we plant new avocado orchards. There are large corridors left so that the animals and native plant species can flourish.

Our climate and altitude means there’s no shortage of rainfall and the soil is free-draining.

We have no need to irrigate or to divert precious water resource away from where it should be.
